Wishing there was enough time for everything!

So I am still trying to work hard on my photography business but it just seems I never really have the time to. I am still getting shadows on my babies eyes and I am still having some issues with lighting to. :( I am taking classes but since I have so much other stuff to do it is taking me forever. Ofcourse photo shop is the last course but I guess they do that so they can truly judge your work. I did upload some new photos of the babies on my myspace page so please check it out. MY CAMERA WILL BE HERE TOMORROW!!!!

YAY!!!! I am so excited!! :) Just wanted to say as of tomorrow I will officially be a "Canon Girl" as Sarah put it. :) I can't wait to finally get started!!!! Tomorrow is going to be pretty hectic though. We get up in the morning drive to Warner Robins, pack up the U-haul, drive back to Chattanooga, unload the U-haul, get stuff ready to sleep on, then get to bed. Saturday we have to go furniture shopping! So very fun but very hectic weekend!!! I will try to get some work done with my camera asap to share though!!! :)

So excited to be finally following my dream!!!

Okay, so I figured I should finally start something here! LOL! I finally ordered my camera, it's a Canon Rebel XTI 400D! It should be here in the next few days! I also ordered the 75mm to 300 mm lens in addition to the one the camera comes with, which is an 18-55mm. In addition to that I finally decided on a name for my photography business which is Captivating Imges. I may have to customize it a little more to My Captivating Images due to a company with a similar name but I feel in my heart that this is suppose to be the name for my business. I will be starting a website for the business very soon. All I have left to do is come up with a logo for the business. I have a friend who is a graphic designer that I think is going to help me with that. I have learned a lot from my experience at CPI and Olan Mills but I do have a lot to learn about the technical side of things such as PhotoShop and the different lenses and so forth. I am pretty good with posing and so forth but hey you can never learn to much right??? :) So I also signed up for the New York Institute of Photography. I know some professional photographers laugh at this course but every little bit helps. Plus, with my hectic lifestyle and traveling job it's what works best for me at this time. I had also planned to attend a seminar in June but my manager is taking vacation for 2 weeks during that time so I have to run the district and can't go. But there will be other opprotunities! I am so excited to finally be following my dreams. In addition to all of that exciting stuff going on we are moving to Chattanooga, Tn this weekend and it's super official with an address and all! :) This is just one more dream of mine. It's where I've always wanted to live. My babies are doing great! Zoe is developing into a wonderful fun little girl and her sister is also growing into a beautiful sweet young girl. Zane will be a year old on Easter. Yes, his first birthday is on Easter which I think is awesome and neat! :) He is such a happy baby and I can't believe he is a year old already. They are growing up to fast but they are great! I also feel that I am very lucky to have a very supportive husband who is allowing me to follow my dreams right now and trying everything he can do to help me get there. I feel soooo loved!
